How to import products?

To start importing products, you will need WooDropship Chrome Extension. You can know more about how to install it here.

Importing a product from AliExpress to your store is a 2 step process -

Add product from AliExpress to WooDropship Import List
Push product from WooDropship Import List to your store

Step 1 - Add product from AliExpress to WooDropship Import List

Once you have the Chrome Extension installed, head over to AliExpress.

You will see a blue pop up button "Add to WooDropship Import List" in the right corner of the product page. Just click on this button if you wish to add this product to your ‘Import List’ on WooDropship.

_This is the only way to add an AliExpress product to your Import List. We are adding more ways soon. _

Step 2 - Push product from WooDropship Import List to your store

Head over to your WooDropship Dashboard and under Products > Import List, you will see the product you just imported along with its variants. Please note that the product pricing will be set according to your Global Pricing Rules.

Connecting your WooCommerce store to WooDropship

Connecting your store to WooDropship is easy

Just follow these steps –

Click on the drop-down arrow on the top and you will see the ‘Connect New Store’ button in the menu.

After that, you will be taken to the "Connect new store" page where you will have a field to enter your store URL. Put in your store URL including http:// or https://.

Click the ‘Connect Store’ button next to the input field and a new tab will open. Note – If a new tab does not open up on clicking the button, please enable popups in your Chrome browser.
The following screen will appear if you are not logged in to your store. Log in to continue. Note – If an error screen appears such as a 403 unauthorized error etc, simply try the alternate method given at the end of this article.

Once you are logged in, you will see a screen asking you to grant permissions to WooDropship. Click on ‘Approve’.

That’s it!

How to get the chrome extension?

Installing WooDropship Chrome Extension is simple. You can Click on the Chrome Extension at the bottom of the homepage.

Clicking on the link will take you to "Chrome web store" there you can add the extension to your chrome browser after you click on ‘Add to Chrome’ and you’re done!

Note: You do not require a ‘User Key’ to use WooDropship any more. WooDropship Chrome Extension works without the User Key now.

Configuring product pricing

Head over to your WooDropship Settings page and you will be able to adjust your price multipliers and markups under the ‘Pricing Rules’ tab.

WooDropship offers 2 of product pricing options –

Multiplier
Fixed Markup

Here are a few key terms to wrap your head around before proceeding.

Product Cost – This is the price of the product on AliExpress.
Sale Price – This is the price of the product on your WooCommerce Store
Regular Price – This is the maximum price of the product on your store (Maximum Retail Price)

When your product pricing is set to ‘Multiplier’, your product price will be product cost multiplied by the multiplier that you set. When your product pricing is set to ‘Fixed Markup’, your product price will be product cost plus the fixed markup that you set.

You can also assign cents to the prices as well. For example, assigning 99 cents will round off the product price to the closest 99 cents.

If you don’t want the product to appear ‘ON SALE’, you can put the same value in both multiplier fields.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you have subscribed using PayPal –

Subscriptions can be easily canceled using your PayPal account with which you subscribed to WooDropship. It is really easy to do so.

If you did NOT subscribe using PayPal –

Head over to the Billing page and use the Cancel My Subscription button at the bottom of the page. As easy as that! 😀

NOTE: Cancellation of your subscription will also lead to cancellation of your account immediately i.e your account will be disabled immediately as soon as you cancel the subscription and you will immediately lose access to WooDropship products, orders etc.

Changing currency in WooDropship

Changing currency in WooDropship

In WooDropship, the default currency is set to USD. Let us assume a few things –

We need to change the currency to GBP
Multipliers in Settings > Global Pricing Rules are set to 1.5 and 2 respectively

To change the currency, first Google the currency rate of your desired currency against USD for eg. USD to GBP.

Searching this should show you that 1 USD = 0.78 GBP

Now, to import prices from AliExpress as GBP, do the following steps –

Go to Settings > Pricing Rules
Multiply the multipliers by the exchange rate i.e 0.78

The new multipliers will be 1.17 and 1.56 (based on our assumptions that they are 1.5 and 2 respectively before the change as stated at the start of this article).

DONE! All the products that you now import will have the prices converted to GBP. However, the product Import List page will show USD next to the prices. We will soon be removing that text. Your store currency will be used to display the prices, so that should not be an issue. 🙂
